From Bench to Production
From concept to full production systems is something in which AMT has
had years of successful experience. We follow a systematic approach that
minimises your risks and delivers rapid process implementation.
In order to ensure your total confidence before factory installation,
we will take your process through our proven staged development approach.
Using our laboratory and high powered industrial systems, most challenges
are sorted out well before factory implementation.

Generators
Did you know that for high power magnetrons there are essentially
only two types of power supplies to choose from.
1. Traditional Linear supplies,
these are characterised by bulky transformers, bridge rectifier
and smoothing inductance. Power is controlled by an electromagnet
either in series with the anode current supply or separately
excited. These supplies have large stored energies which can
damage the magnetron if an internal arc is present.
2. Switch Mode supplies,
with switching frequencies up to 20kHz, these systems allow
very rapid control of the applied magnetron voltage and can
be switched off instantaneously. The stored energy is low, thus
providing a safer environment for an expensive magnetron.
